Two of London's most exciting new forces link up as @objectblue releases her four-track 'REX' EP on @lgsrec. Inspired in part by King Lear, it unfolds with a Shakespearean sense of narrative energy, channelling wild emotions into finely crafted cuts that simmer. '(time to) WORK' is the first techno track she ever wrote, showing a characteristically unique spin of the genre, weaving an Aaliyah sample soaked in metallic reverb and palpitating percussive lines into the mix.
