Puerto Rico aun no logra recuperarse del desastre dejado por el paso del huracán María el pasado 20 de septiembre y las críticas contra el gobierno federal por su respuesta a la crisis que atraviesa la isla no se detienen. Jeremy Ortiz amplía.
By some measures, the world is getting better and better. Poverty is going down, while literacy is going up. Violent crime statistics are dropping, while IQs are rising. Child labor and exploitation is being eliminated, while human rights are spreading. We even have less pollution and fewer oil spills than just a couple decades ago. At the same time, many people are more and more concerned that we are approaching a time of world war and global catastrophe. News commentators are using words like Armageddon and apocalypse. How can you explain this paradox? Is it possible to reconcile these positive developments with all the bad news and the rising anxiety? Is the world getting better and better? Or are we poised for World War III? Or is it possible that both these things are true? We’ll answer these questions by taking a square look at current trends, history and Bible prophecy.

The Trump peace team has been in the Middle East all week. Reports indicate they have been sharing Trump’s peace plan, the so-called “Deal of the Century”, with Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Egypt and Israel. Many people are saying the peace plan won’t get off the ground. However, don’t underestimate President Trump, the man who wrote The Art of the Deal, and recently signed the unprecedented de-nuclearization agreement with North Korea. Could Trump pull off another impossible peace coup? For that answer, we’ll have to wait and see!

Listen to the Trumpet Daily radio program that aired on June 18, 2018. Failed immigration policy in the United States has continued to expose the radical left’s politically motivated agenda in undermining the rule of law at the southern border. The left wants to apply one set of rules for people breaking the law by crossing the border, and another for the rest of the criminals in the country. Leftists who have never supported family values are now advocating the importance of family, while trampling on the law. Also on today’s show, we discuss the shock waves going through German politics as one German M.P. discusses the possible end of Angela Merkel’s chancellorship. For these stories and more, listen to today’s Trumpet Daily Radio Show, hosted by Stephen Flurry.

On June 22nd, the man Hillary Clinton blames for her 2016 presidential election defeat to Donald Trump, the former FBI director James Comey, was in Dublin to promote his book A Higher Loyalty. Coincidentally, less than a kilometre away, Clinton was also in town to receive an honorary degree from Trinity College. Comey was interviewed by Hugh Linehan at a live event at the Irish Film Institute in Temple Bar. They spoke about his book, the election and his interactions with Donald Trump before he was sensationally fired by the US president, as detailed in A Higher Loyalty. You can hear that interview in this podcast, with thanks to the IFI.
